| Last night I made maryAnn's Frisedde they were great brought me back to my chidhood . Today I made more and I added some lard( melted) to the dough and cracked blk. peppercorns they were good also ,Hubby said he would buy them In His favorite bakery in Park slope B'klyn,N.Y. Does any one know what they were called? |

Frisedde is also called Friselle or Frise. Does that ring a bell? Do you know if that bakery is still there?

| yes he said it was called friselle ,that bakery is gone many years now and all he can remember is the man that owned it name was Vito.Thanks for you help Angela |

Angela you could buy Friselle in Brooklyn on Court St. the bread store is callled Caputo..I know I was just there. Hope this helped |
