Join Mary Ann Esposito, author, culinary instructor, and hostess of television’s Ciao Italia, as she introduces you to her new book Ciao Italia Family Classics: More than 200 Treasured Recipes From Three Generations of Italian Cooks. Mary Ann, with the help of MET Culinary Arts students, will prepare a four-course meal, and her husband Guy will pair the wines. Recipes will be from Mary Ann’s mother and grandmothers (one from Naples and the other from Sicily). She will talk about her wonderful background growing up in an Italian American home, where the women cooked and passed-on their meals—and where Mary Ann preserved their historic recipes to share with you. She will also give you tips on the techniques used to prepare these dishes. Cost includes a copy of Ciao Italia Family Classics, food, wines, and lots of good, interesting information and anecdotes.
