Thanksgiving Butternut Squash Soup

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and if you're not in charge of making the turkey, you're probably in charge of bringing a side dish. While everyone has their favorite mashed potatoes or green bean recipes, why not bring something a little bit different this year? This butternut squash soup perfectly complements all the Thanksgiving staples.

¼ cup maple syrup
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
