"A Lotta Ricotta" Cooking Class

Ricotta, a staple in many regions of Italian cuisine, is actually simple to make in your own kitchen. Mary Ann Esposito, prolific cookbook author, culinary teacher, and host of America’s longest-running cooking show, Ciao Italia, will lead this hands-on class in which students will not only make their own ricotta, but use it in recipes that include homemade cannelloni, creamy broccoli soup, and, for dessert, a deconstructed cannoli. Mary Ann and Guy Esposito will join the group as they sit down to enjoy the meal they prepare. The meal will be paired with wines selected and explained by Guy himself, who was recently named intermediate-level wine educator by the United States Sommelier Association.
