April 25: Lancaster, NY: Cooking Demonstration at St. Mary's High School
St. Mary’s High School, Lancaster New York is proud to announce the return of Mary Ann Esposito, creator of the longest-running cooking show on television today Ciao Italia with Mary Ann Esposito.
Mary Ann and her husband, Dr. Guy Esposito, are 1960 graduates of St. Mary’s High School. Mary Ann is the creator, host and chef of the nationally televised PBS series, Ciao Italia with Mary Ann Esposito. She is also the author of 13 cookbooks including her most recent, Ciao Italia: My Lifelong Food Adventures in Italy. (www.ciaoitalia.com)
Ciao Italia has been aired on PBS for 30 years, making it the longest-running nationally televised cooking show today. In addition to PBS, Ciao Italia is now available on Amazon Prime Video.
On April 25, 2020 at 6:00 p.m., Mary Ann will be on stage demonstrating various dishes from her cookbooks, while a group of local chefs prepare the dishes for the enjoyment of all attendees. All preparation will be supervised by Mary Ann, adhering to her impeccable standards. During the preparation, Mary Ann will provide the background and history of each dish and how they were part of her life growing up in Depew, NY.
Chefs from area restaurants include (final list will be provided at the event): Giancarlo’s Sicilian Steak House, Personal Touch Caterers, Bobby J’s, ECC North Culinary Department, Ilio DiPaolo’s, Osteria 166, Bellagio, Villaggio, Buffalo’s Best Grill & Catering and more to come!
After her demonstration, Buffalo’s own Bobby Militello Quartet will take over the stage for the entertainment of all.
Master of Ceremonies for the evening will be Chris Horvatits, WIVB Reporter and SMH Alum 2009.
In addition to the meal, there will be wine with each of the courses, and all will receive a signed copy of Mary Ann’s latest cookbook ($39.99 retail value).
