Mary Ann Esposito is an American chef, author of over a dozen cookbooks, and the beloved creator and host of the longest running TV cooking program, Ciao Italia, which started on PBS in 1989. Her signature cooking style features authenticity, history and tradition.

She will demonstrate that “when our tables are linked to the soil in our own back yard, freshness surpasses any other extravagance.” Mary Ann is passionate about cooking and preparing directly from her back yard garden to table. This approach results in incredible tastes, delicious flavors, and the greatest benefit from nutrients.

Mary Ann states that “You can get a lot of yield out of a limited space” and that “A vegetable garden can nourish body and soul and is a constant reminder of our connection to the earth.”
