May 9: Salem, MA: Apertivo with the Author

Meet Mary Ann Esposito, chef, cookbook author and host of the longest running cooking show on television, Ciao Italia.   The Spirit of `76 Bookstore invites you to join us at the Hawthorne Hotel, in Salem, MA  on Thursday, May 9th from 6-8pm for “Aperitivo with the Author”. 

During the Aperitivo, enjoy a welcome glass of wine and a sample tasting of two appetizers prepared by the hotels chef using recipes from Esposito’s latest book, My Lifelong Food Adventures in Italy!  Mary Ann will give a brief talk on food, culture and her signature cooking style followed by a Q&A and book signing.

Event Ticket with Cookbook:  $65.00 includes one copy of Esposito’s latest cookbook, My Lifelong Food Adventures in Italy, a welcome glass of wine and a tasting of two appetizer recipes prepared from Esposito’s cookbook.

Event Ticket with Cookbook plus 1 guest:  $90.00 includes one copy of Esposito’s latest cookbook, My Lifelong Food Adventures in Italy.  A welcome glass of wine and a tasting of two appetizer recipes prepared from Esposito’s cookbook will be served to each guest..

Event Ticket No Cookbook:  $30.00 includes a welcome glass of wine and a tasting of two appetizer recipes prepared from Esposito’s cookbook.

(Note: Alcohol cannot be served to anyone under the age of 21.  A soft drink will be substituted)

The hotel has two parking lots available to guests on a first come-first-serve basis.  Two parking garages and parking around the Salem Common are available within walking distance.
