Francesca's Seafood Stew


  • Olive oil
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Red pepper flakes
  • White wine
  • 28 oz crushed plum tomatoes
  • Parsley
  • Salt & pepper
  • Clams/mussels
  • Large shrimp/lobster/monk fish
  • Fish: cod/haddock
  • Water: if needed


  1. Dutch oven ,heat oil, cook onion ,garlic & red pepper, stirring until onion is soft
  2. Add wine, simmer until wine has evaporated
  3. Add tomatoes and salt, cover & simmer about 10 minutes
  4. Add clams, cook couple minutes, until clams begin to open then add shrimp & fish
  5. Raise heat cook until bubbly and clams open.
  6. Serve with crusty garlic bread
