Grilled Swordfish
Swordfish (pescespada) is the signature fish dish of Sicily and is either grilled, pan-fried or oven baked. Less is more when it comes to seasonings. A drizzle of olive oil and squirt of fresh lemon juice is just enough. Team it with grilled tomato halves.
Ingredients
- 4 Swordfish steaks (each weighing 6oz and measuring 1 1/2" in thickness)
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Juice of 1 large lemon
- Coarse salt to taste
Directions
- Preheat the grill for 20 minutes on medium high heat; brush the grill grate with a little olive oil.
- Grill steaks over direct heat 3 minutes on each side or until internal temperature of 145F is reached.
- Season with salt and pepper, olive oil and lemon juice.
