Italian pork sausages (2 to 3), casing removed, meat crumbled

onion minced
1/2 cup
cooked rice
2 tbsp
minced parsley
1 cup
1 cup chopped cheese such as mozzarella, provolone, asiago
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup
chicken broth
Dell ‘Orto extra virgin chili pepper olive oil
Directions
Preheat oven to 350F
In a bowl combine the sausage, onion, rice, parsley, cheese, salt and pepper. Divide and stuff the mixture into the peppers.
Replace the tops. Place peppers in a casserole dish or Dutch oven and pour the broth into the pan. Cover and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the peppers are soft.
Serve with a drizzle of Dell ‘Orto extra virgin chili pepper olive oil over the peppers.
