Zuppa di Fontina – Fontina Cheese Soup
Ingredients
- 1lb fontina, thinly sliced
- 1 or 2 french baguettes, cut into round and toasted
- 10 cups beef stock, heated
Directions
- Preheat oven to 250F Make alternating layers of bread and cheese in a deep ovenproof casserole dish or soup tureen. Pour the stock over the layers. Place in the oven for 10 minutes;then laddle and serve.
