In Italy, Father’s Day is celebrated on March 19, the feast day of St. Joseph, who is the patron saint of all fathers.
With Father’s Day just around the corner on June 19 here in the U.S., I thought it might be nice to offer some really stick-to-your-ribs kind of Italian food that the men in your life might enjoy.
Treat Dad to something different than the standard steak and baked potato regime. Jazz up his day with this easy to make menu, then watch him smile!
The short ribs can be made a couple of days ahead with only the rigatoni to cook last minute. And the chocolate spumoni can be made a week ahead and frozen.
