It's the Berries

May 5, 2021

It is so exasperating! You bought some fresh raspberries, blackberries or strawberries and put them in the fridge, only to discover a day or two later that they have begun to go south with mold growing on them! Toss. A better way to keep them longer is to take them out of those plastic containers they come in and lay them single file in a paper towel lined container. The paper towels will absorb the extra liquid and the berries will last a lot longer, I guarantee it. This also works for blueberries and for farm fresh berries you handpicked.
