Wondering about this year’s holiday menu? Let’s keep it simple but delicious like this stovetop roasted Brussels Sprouts recipe.

Cut them in half lengthwise and boil them for 3 minutes. Drain and dry on a kitchen towel. Melt some butter in a sauté pan and place the sprouts cut side down in the pan and cook them over medium heat until a knife is easily inserted into them. Place them cut side up in a serving dish and drizzle with maple syrup or honey. Sprinkle the tops with coarse salt and if you like some toasted slice almonds.
