It’s a Vegetable, It’s a Superfood, It’s Brussels Sprouts!

Finally, Brussels sprouts are getting more attention! They are a superfood.These mini cabbages are full of health benefits like loads of vitamin C and K. They are a good source of fiber too. I think they get a bad rap because of how they are frequently cooked. Just boiling them is not going to make you a fan.
I suggest you try oven roasting them. This will result in a sweeter flavor.Adding some onions as you roast them is a nice touch too. As soon as a knife can easily pierce the thickest part of the sprouts, they are done. I like to add sharp grated cheddar cheese when they come out of the oven and toasted almonds. They taste super!
