Little Wine Cookies / Biscottini al Vino
Easy
I have made all the traditional types of biscotti, but when I created chocolate biscotti studded with pistachio nuts, raves came from my family. These are not too sweet and have a nice airy texture.

Hi Mary Ann, just made your chocolate pistachio biscotti and boy did I have a devil of a time getting that terribly sticky dough on to the parchment lined cookie sheets and shaped into a log 16 inches by 4 inches. So when the biscotti were cooking I went to your web site and discovered that the receipe had changed somewhat. No zest in the newer one. Could that have made the dough so sticky and hard to work with? By the way, love your show, record it every Saturday as well as use your receipes alot. In fact last nite I made shrimp amalfi style and it turned out great, always does!! Anyway, if you could pass along any hints about the biscotti would gratly appreciate it – thanks – mille grazie and ciao, Lorenzo
