I love your cookbooks and watching you on PBS. My father’s family was from Punto Gorvo (spelling??) near Rome. I would love to see a show from that area and what its main dishes are. My maiden name is DeBernardis, and my Mom was a Catina and Ferramini from Abrusse. Thank you for keeping the tradition of Italy alive.
I have your chocolate olive oil cake recipie, and my granddaughter swears it’s THE BEST. I think she will say the same about the red wine cake too.
I wonder, can I use a white wine or champagne in this instead?
